What if I told you that I’ve walked a similar path to the one you’re on now?
I’ve experienced a role where my colleagues felt like family but my heart knew something was missing. I’ve had a job that I hated getting out of bed for that led me to feel depressed, stressed and sad because I hardly saw my family. You’d think (as a recruiter) I’d have known better. But here I was―miserable, crying most days and stuffing black tourmaline in my bra to help me ward off negative energies. My career had nose-dived. My relationships and marriage were strained and my health was suffering. This life wasn’t what I wanted for my family or for myself.
Let me tell you something. The moment I walked out that door, a weight lifted off my shoulders. I became clear on what was important to me and my career. I realised how precious life is and that I’m not here to simply exist.
